The developer of the original Only Up announced on September 7, 2023, that the game would be removed from Steam because the development process had caused them a lot of stress. They intended to focus on their mental well-being and move on to their next project named "Kith". But players who had purchased the original Only Up before it was delisted can still find it in their Steam libraries and play it.
